Brands that are just getting going and want to get some PR.

The great joy of the world of social media is that ideas and “memes” can be simply produced without the cost of conventional marketing.

powerful-ideas-icon.jpg

Brands at full scale that want powerful ideas from a creative outsider.

It’s easy for marketing and communications to get stuck in a rut. The Ideas Clinic will help you power your way out of it.

Brands that don’t want the disruption of an “account review” to get fresh thinking.

The Ideas Clinic isn’t connected to any communications group. We are completely confidential and completely independent. And we can help you build on your existing partner platform.

brand-idea-icon.jpg

Brands that know the value of an idea.

A great idea is the most powerful asset in marketing. Orange was a great idea before it became a great brand.

I have produced many ideas over the last 40 years for hundreds of brands, there is a good chance in a couple of days, you will get something of value for your own brand.

Brands with new leadership that want some new thinking to help inspire their existing communication partners.

New leadership in a company can cause uncertainty in an agency. The Ideas Clinic will give you a sense of what is the real potential of your brand without having to have any awkward conversations with your agency.

A CREATIVE IDEA IS THE LAST BARGAIN LEFT IN BUSINESS

The most cost-effective way to boost your business is with an idea – or rather lots of ideas.

That’s what the Ideas Clinic will produce for you in just two days.

About The Clinic

THE IDEAS CLINIC – DAY ONE

This is a day for product interrogation, using the techniques I invented for BMW that helped them increase their sales tenfold over 30 years. This is where I have a series of 30-minute interviews to discover key facts to reveal the story behind your brand. Interviewing engineers, product developers, maybe some consumers. Not just marketing people.

I am looking to discover the conviction that drives your brand. And find a way to rebuild you as a conviction brand. To help this, I will also want to explore your advertising and brand archaeology: what are the most successful campaigns of the past and how can some of these perhaps be repurposed to give value in the future.

THE IDEAS CLINIC – DAY ONE: EVENING

This is a working supper with 3-4 key members of your team discussing what I have found and how new insights can breathe new life into your brand.

THE IDEAS CLINIC – DAY TWO

Ideas unlimited. Informally inspired by the “product interrogation”, shaped by your evening briefing of what you feel you might be missing, this is the core of producing ideas to help you reboot your brand.

Let me know what you might be looking for from an Ideas Clinic. Which part of your business do you want to focus on?

And then let’s have breakfast at The Wolseley to discuss how a two-day Ideas Clinic could help generate the ideas to help reboot your brand.

I’ve been working with some of the world’s largest brands for over 40 years, having founded two of marketing and advertising’s biggest agencies, Engine and WCRS. Now that I’ve stepped back from Engine, I am reinventing myself as an independent ideas resource for brands large and small.

Having authored two books on the topic, and working on my third, I’m now ready to help your brand unleash its potential.
